Today we’re taking a look back on Haley and Andrew's modern yet timeless wedding, draped in a classic black and white color palette at The Bridge Building with its stunning skyline backdrop.
These Nashvillians met through the digital tendrils of Hinge and dated for almost 3 years. Their journey led to an intimate and sweet at-home proposal in their living room full of rose petals. It was followed by a private dinner with friends and family at a local favorite, Moto, setting the stage for a celebration of their love in the heart of Downtown Nashville.
When it came to the wedding day, choosing the Bridge Building wasn't a difficult decision; it was the natural choice.
"We knew we wanted the city skyline in the background, and The Bridge Building had the best views," they shared.
The atmosphere was buzzing, with the excitement of friends and family gathered to witness this union of Haley and Andrew’s love. The rooftop was set with a black and white checkered floor, ceremony seating with black bows lining the aisle, and white drapery with a hanging disco ball installation.
Haley walked the aisle, following her bridesmaids dressed in sleek black matching dresses, holding a bouquet of white calla lilies.
Once the vows were said, guests made their way to the Dyer space for the reception, where they were met with a glass of champagne and passed apps, including shrimp cocktail, classic tomato bruschetta, fried mac and cheese, and braised short rib.
The tables were set with white and black linens, minimalist and individual floral centerpieces with white roses, floating tea candles, and frosted white acrylic table numbers.
As the evening unfolded, music filled the air intertwining with laughter and joy while a caricature artist captured the fun of the celebration, leaving behind tangible mementos for the guests.
"Seeing our friends and family absolutely love our band and the caricature artist" were some of the most memorable takeaways for Haley and Andrew, they told us.
The couple took to the dance floor after dinner and toasts for their first dance as husband and wife to “Stay In My Corner” by The Arcs. “We felt like this embodied marriage of continually fighting for each other in any situation life throws at a couple,” they said.
Haley and Andrew then spent the rest of their wedding night celebrating with their loved ones on the rooftop!
