This classic romantic wedding at The Bridge Building was the perfect way to show off Emily and Mitchell's new city.
Emily from Michigan and Mitchell from Georgia, both moved to Nashville, Tenn. to start their new lives. The two met through some mutual friends, which later led to a sunset proposal on the beach of Lake Michigan in Emily's hometown.
For their wedding day, they went with a classic color palette of black and white with loads of fresh greenery. Both the groomsmen and bridesmaids were dressed in all black. However, the ceremony and reception had soft romantic neutrals and candlelight to dress up our already sleek venue.
Emily began her day getting ready with her best gals before sharing a precious first look with Mitchell. Right before the big reveal, the couple read personal letters they wrote to one another.
When the rooftop ceremony was over, guests made their way to the riverfront for a cocktail hour complete with candied bacon, fried green tomatoes, and a traditional bar.
Afterward, guests found their seats in the main space for the newlywed's grand entrance and a yummy plated dinner service. Their selections consisted of sirloin steak with grilled vegetables and mashed potatoes or tomato basil chicken with steamed broccoli and parmesan risotto. Once dinner was complete, it was time to have some fun!
The rooftop was one big dance party with an added coffee bar and the sweetest donuts from our beloved Fox's Donut Den.
Emily and Mitchell shared their first dance to "Across The Room" by Odesza feat. Leon Bridges. "It's a song that we both love and feels unique to us," Emily told us.
When the time came to send these newlyweds away, their guests made a sparkler tunnel leading their way to their 1959 Bentley getaway car.
